How do I Cancel an item purchased on Wooden Twist?

  • Cancellation in Case of Damage: In case if you received a damaged or defective product, bring it in the notice of Wooden Twist team by reporting a return request on Wooden Twist by login to your account.
    Damage & defect will be assessed in 72 hours’, and a solution will be provided. If in the opinion of Wooden Twist, the product is broken, it may replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by Wooden Twist, to address the issue.

  • Products purchased on discount or during sale can not be cancelled.
  • Orders can be canceled within 1 hour of the order date and only if the order is not shipped. Refund will be issued in Wooden Twist wallet only.

Return & Refund:

If you are eligible for any refund, the same shall be given to you as per the following guidelines:

  • All refunds process initiation shall be subject to pick up of all cancelled items from your/customer's premises.
  • Post receiving the products back to the warehouse, a refund shall be initiated within 2-3 days.
  • Refund will be initiated to Wooden Twist wallet only.
  • Depending on the orders, the processing charges might be deducted.
  • Refunds for refused delivery orders by customer will be issued after deducting 20% restocking fee.
  • Orders placed during sale or with discount can't be returned, they can be covered only under replacement policy in case of damages or defects
  • As an exception if refund is issued in bank account 5% payment gateway charges will be deducted.
  • Unedited unboxing video is mandatory for returns and replacement.

Warranties:

  • The product comes with a 1-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects, inherent termite and borer issues.
  • This limited warranty does not apply to:
    • Small cuts, scratches or damage during the cleaning process
    • Damaged caused by the incorrect installation of a product
    • Cracks during the random displacement
    • Product kept in contact to direct sunlight and water, resulting in decaying of wood
  • With time solid woods are encountered by minor cracks, called as checks, which are not included in faults and warranty as these checks do not hamper the life of a product.
  • As per the industry standards, unevenness up to 5 mm can happen because of the difference in surfaces and floor levels. In that case, there is not a warranty.
  • There is no warranty on upholstery/ coverings/ cushion covers.

Delivery:

Our support and delivery team will be in coordination with you for a hassle-free delivery.

Our delivery partner shall only deliver the product to the ground floor in the absence of a service lift in your apartment. (if applicable)

Once the order has reached your nearest delivery center and you fail to receive the products, we would hold the products for 5 days, after this time line, Wooden Twist shall be free to charge for holding the products for longer.

Delivery Rejection & Demurrage Charges for Custom and Non-Returnable Items

For products that are non-returnable or customized as per the customer's request, if the customer refuses to accept delivery upon arrival, the following terms shall apply:

  • We will hold the product in our warehouse free of charge for up to 7 calendar days from the original delivery date.

  • From the 8th day onwards, a demurrage fee of Rs 100 per day will be applicable for a maximum of 30 days.

  • If the product is not collected or delivery is not accepted within 37 days (7 free days + 30 chargeable days), we reserve the right to dispose of the product at our discretion.

  • In such cases, no refunds will be issued, and Wooden Twist will not be liable for any further claims related to the disposed product.

This clause is strictly applicable to all custom-made orders and products marked as non-returnable on our website.
